House Renovation Project In Hampstead
We recently undertook a house renovation project in Hampstead. This required us to demonstrate a number of skills across groundworks, mechanical works and electrical installation.
Cooper Weston were the designated Principal Contractor for the project, putting us in charge of planning, managing, monitoring and coordinating the entire construction phase.

Extensive groundworks
We commenced this project by undertaking extensive groundworks, this phase involved:
- Lifting and relaying the existing pathway to accommodate gasworks and water mains trenching.
- Installing an outside CCTV system to enhance security and surveillance capabilities.
- Implementing a cutting-edge door entry system to provide residents with a secure means of access.
- Fitting general outdoor lighting for both safety and aesthetics.
Mechanical installations
The mechanical aspects of the project included a wide range services from our fully qualified team:
- A full installation of a plant room, featuring a Vaillant boiler installation, ensuring optimal heating efficiency.
- We adapted the air conditioning system inside the house to ensure the new plant room did not overheat.
- We installed an underfloor heating system for added comfort and energy efficiency for the residents.
- Integrated merger tanks and pumps to enhance the property’s water distribution.
- Implemented a water purification system.
- Installed bespoke bathrooms across the property.
- Planned for a future pool installation.
Electrical services
Our expertise in electrical installations shone brightly in this phase, including installing fibre and data throughout the entire property, along with a fully-equipped comms cabinet.
We fitted the house with bespoke switches and faceplates sourced from France. These switches were designed to accommodate the underfloor heating sensors as well as the electric windows and blinds.
We also implemented a detailed extraction system for bathrooms and kitchens to ensure excellent air circulation, and made As-Built drawings designed in house along with an O&M manual for the contract.
